Leadership Development Programme for Aspiring Principals

Pentir are now in the fifth year of working with the Sixth Form College Association on their national leadership development programme for the next generation of sixth form Principals.

This is taking place in a context where high quality candidates for leadership posts are in short supply.

Last year some thirty individuals applied to become part of the first cohort. Our particular contribution was to provide a mock interview service with detailed feedback. This involved developing a briefing pack on a fictitious Principal appointment and to interview in this context against the specification.

The feedback sessions were honest and identified very clear areas for development as well as suggestions around interview style and approaches. The feedback from delegates has been extremely positive.
